Thirty students from Bridgeton High School and Cumberland Regional High School, led by Watershed Ambassador Lucas Carll, participated in the Cumberland County Trash Hunt sponsored by the Cumberland County Improvement Authority.

On March 21, 2015, Students from the BHS Youth on Main Street, Interact, and Environmental Clubs worked with CRHS KEY and Leo Club members to clean the area around the Raceway and Jetty’s Pond in the Bridgeton City Park. Adult volunteers from BHS and the Cohansey Area Watershed Association (CAWA) were on hand to help supervise the event. Volunteers collected 13 bags of recyclables and 11 bags of trash.
